Remember my post of May 15 about an “outdoor museum” of the history of Taipei (or Taiwan?) laid out on the sides of a pedestrian overpass? Well, here are the next best closeups. This overpass is at the intersection of Hsing Lung Road and Roosevelt Road.
So they look like pictures of old farm life of Taiwan, with water buffalo-drawn ploughing, children playing and working in the fields, and farmers harvesting. If I can get to the bottom of this one day…when it was installed, the origin of it, the purpose of the installation, and who did it. I tried googling but to no avail.
