Have a baby tiger!

It’s the Year of the Tiger and now the government is really worried. Taiwan already has the lowest birthrate in the world at 1.0 (In this article, I attempt to explain why).  But tiger years are always the worst for births, usually averaging  50,000 + less babies than the year before. That’s because tiger people are feared to be vicious and or to bring harm to the family. They are the ones traditionally kept away from weddings, especially bridal rooms.

To find out more about the tiger zodiac, click here.

But on the positive side, they are supposed to make great writers, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs and…politicans. Just ask Taiwan’s two most prominent tigers – President Ma Ying-jeou and VP Vincent Siew. Happy zodiac anniversary guys!
