The world’s smallest tiger

That’s the world’s smallest tiger! and it was made in Taiwan. Check out the Youtube here of Taiwanese sculptor Chen Forng Shean.  It’s tiny at about 1 mm long ( 1/10 the size of a grain of rice) and can fit through an eye of the needle.

It took spare time artist Chen ten attempts and a few months to make. The hardest part, he said, was painting the tongue.  He revealed it this month, just in time for the Year of the Tiger.

The tiger is made of artificial resin. Chen also likes to work with ant heads, fly wings, dental floss, and grains of rice. To look at his other works, check out Chen’s website.
