Designer Christmas trees
admin | December 9, 2009
Taipei may not be New York, which makes an annual event out of its Christmas tree lighting at the Rockefeller Center, but Taipei does have some elegant trees.
A walk through the upscale Hsinyi district this past weekend brought me right up close to some designer ones, such as the Tiffany tree right in front of the Taipei 101 mall.

Inside the mall are some crystal-like trees by crystal jewerly maker Swarovski, a brand which is quite popular in Taiwan.

More Taipei 101 Christmas decor above.
That’s the 3-story tree outside the mega Mitsukoshi department store complex in the area.

The same tree at night.

The world famous Rockefeller Center tree.

And our quaint little tree at RTI – not super stylish nor mega huge, but a nice way to be welcomed to the station. Happy holiday season everyone!
